Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 2026-09-14

Islamic Calendar ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Events, notes and settings are stored on your device. Exporting or sharing sends the data you select to the destination you choose.

1.2 Location Data

We collect your device location for the following purposes:

Online features contact external services for Quran content, location lookup and metal prices. These services may receive your IP address and request data. Google/Firebase also provides hosting and price-data infrastructure; removing Firebase purchase verification does not remove these services.

1.3 Purchase Information

The updated app checks purchases with Apple App Store or Google Play and caches entitlement information on your device. It does not send receipts or purchase tokens to Firebase for verification. Older versions may still use our Firebase verifier. Apple or Google handles payment details and store records; removing verification from the app does not erase earlier server records.

1.4 Data Collected by Third Parties

The updated mobile app requests non-personalized ads through Google AdMob when privacy choices permit. Ad services may process IP addresses, device identifiers and ad interactions for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized does not mean no data collection. Premium users do not see ads. Unity Ads and web AdSense are disabled in the updated source.

1.5 Device Calendar Access

Our app requests permission to read events from your device's native calendar to provide the 'Import Events' feature. The imported calendar events are stored locally within the app. We do not transmit your device's calendar data to our servers or any third parties.
